Microsoft Office Word 2007 Level 1 

Description
This course is intended for individuals who are new Word users.  In this course, students will create, edit, and enhance standard business documents using Microsoft(R) Office Word 2007.  This course is intended for individuals who want to gain basic knowledge of working on Word.  Individuals who want to pursue Microsoft Certified Application Specialist certification in Microsoft Office Word 2007 can also take this course.

In this course you will create, edit, and enhance standard business documents using Microsoft Office Word 2007. Cost $143

 

Microsoft Office Word 2007 Level 2        

Description:
This course goes beyond the basics of Microsoft® Office 2007, helping you to increase the complexity of your Word documents. You will create customized efficiency tools, and add customized lists, tables, charts, and graphics to your documents. These skills will allow you to efficiently produce high-quality, effective, sophisticated documents. This course will help you prepare for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist exam for Microsoft Word 2007. This course was designed for persons who can create and modify standard business documents in Microsoft Word 2007, and who need to learn how to use Microsoft Word 2007 to create or modify complex business documents as well as customized Word efficiency tools. It will be helpful for persons preparing for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist exams for Microsoft Word 2007.

Objectives:
In this course, you will create complex documents in Microsoft® Office Word 2007 documents and build personalized efficiency tools in Microsoft Word 2007. Cost $143

 

Microsoft Office Word 2007 Level 3     

Description:
You have used Microsoft® Office Excel® 2007 to perform tasks such as running calculations on data and sorting and filtering numeric data. In this course, you will extend your knowledge into some of the more specialized and advanced capabilities of Excel by automating some common tasks, applying advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborating on worksheets with others, and sharing Excel data with other applications. This course was designed for students desiring to gain the skills necessary to create macros, collaborate with others, audit and analyze worksheet data, incorporate multiple data sources, and import and export data. In addition, the course is also for students desiring to prepare for the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist exam in Microsoft® Office Excel® 2007, and who already have knowledge of the basics of Excel, including how to create, edit, format, and print worksheets that include charts and sorted and filtered data.

Objectives:
In this course, you will automate some common Excel tasks, apply advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborate on worksheets with others, and share Excel data with other applications. Cost $143

You will need access to a computer, access to the Internet, and speakers or headphones to successfully complete the courses.  Self-paced courses let you move at your own pace. They can be repeated as often as necessary within the 3 month time frame.  A range of different learning experiences are available:

  • Hands-on, interactive training with easy navigation tools that follow a tutorial. It's as if the student is actually using the application.
  • 10- to 15-minute audio and video presentations.
  • Courses with a "big picture" concepts, then added details and procedures in short, easy-to-understand segments with a mix of interactive components.

We can assist students who have any technical issues logging in or using the self paced material.
